Operating since 2013, Basildon Foodbank is now entering an exciting new phase. We believe that we should be working towards a future without the need for foodbanks, but we recognise that we have a long way to go to get there. To help us further develop this enterprise we are looking for an Operations Manager and a Foodbank Community Liaison Officer (CLO).
Basildon Foodbank is the community outreach project of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Majesty Connections, Pitsea. The Basildon Foodbank is affiliated to the Trussell Trust network of food banks.
For these roles you will be based at our main office within the Redeemed Christian Church of God Majesty Connections, in Pitsea, Basildon. You will work across our food distribution Centre(s) and food warehouse within Basildon Borough. We operate a hybrid working model that allows you to work flexibly between the office (minimum 3 days/week) and home. Regular evenings and occasional weekend work is required.
Operations Manager
Ideally you would be a strong strategic leader educated to degree level with a proven experience of working within the third sector in organisations that deploys volunteers. You would be very comfortable with working with a whole range of organisations and leaders including religious leaders. Car driver with full driving license is necessary

.Foodbank Community Liaison Officer (CLO)
Passionate about making a genuine difference to people in food crisis you will be a strong team player, very organised with good communication and administration skills able to work collaboratively. Education to a degree level will be an advantage. Car driver with full driving license is necessary
