If you are reading this, thank you!
The food bank is here for people in our community who have no other options this winter and little hope this Christmas. This will be another of the busiest winters ever; the soaring Cost of Living is driving record numbers of people on the lowest incomes to the food bank, and the help needed is outstripping the donations we’re receiving.
That is why we are kindly asking if you would help us be there for the people who rely on us this Winter and Christmas.
Your monetary and food donations (nonperishable food ONLY) will help transform the lives of those in crisis in our community.
To ensure donations reach those in hardship in time for Christmas, we kindly ask that you donate by the first week of December at the latest.
Donations can be brought to our Foodbank Centre (1 The Gore, SS14 2EA) from 10:30 am to 3 pm on Mondays – Thursdays.
Here are the most required items:
- Kids Toys
- Canned soup
- Pot/instant Noodles
- Long-life Milk
- Canned fruits and pudding
- Canned Meat / Meals
- Canned Fish
- canned Veg
- Pasta Sauce
- Tinned Tomatoes
